14 December 2023Smart design for a small bathroom
On Obly.com, where you can find plenty of home inspiration and find the best designers, architects and construction professionals for your renovation plans, a (bathroom) project is regularly put in the spotlight. This time it is a smart design for a relatively small bathroom. With a limited space of only 3.15 x 2.21 meters, these residents managed to make optimal use of the bathroom, partly thanks to the expert advice of Jan van Sundert in Etten-Leur. The lack of a bathtub, created space for a spacious walk-in shower, a wall-mounted toilet, bathroom furniture and a stylish design radiator. Thanks to this well-thought-out approach and the expert advice of Jan Van Sundert, this design is a perfect example of smart use of space and contemporary design.
This bathroom uses many black items and accessories for a modern effect. The sleek and modern design radiator, PANEEL TV, also fits perfectly into the bathroom image. With its matte black color, side coverings and wall consoles, the PANEEL TV forms a seamless whole in the interior. This design radiator is also available in a horizontal version, the PANEEL TH. In addition, this striking beauty in this bathroom is equipped with three handy Instamat towel knobs in brushed stainless steel, so that you are always assured of a warm towel or bathrobe. In this way you create an oasis of warmth and comfort so that the bathroom becomes a relaxing and modern space where it is wonderful to get ready for the day or to unwind in the evening.
Do you have plans to renovate your bathroom or kitchen? Then also include the radiators in the overall picture. Even if you have floor heating system! Because a design radiator is perfect as additional heating, especially in the bathroom!
Moreover, design radiators come in all shapes, sizes and colors, and you can tailor them to your style, even if it is a smaller space. And whether you go for modern, industrial or rural, there is a choice for every taste. Curious about what is available? Request HERE our inspiration book.

But stay with us! Below, we would like to give you some tips to make a relatively small bathroom look larger:
- Place one large mirror on the wall of the bathroom. This not only reflects more light, but also creates the illusion of a larger space. This bathroom has a large oval mirror with mood lighting.
- A stylish “floating” bathroom furniture was chosen for this bathroom. This opens up the floor space and creates a feeling of space.
- If you have a shower cabin or a walk-in shower like here, consider a transparent shower wall or a glass shower wall. This bathroom has a trendy glass wall with a black frame that combines well with the black taps of the shower, sink and design radiator.
- Use large tiles on the floor and walls instead of small tiles. This minimizes joints and gives a feeling of a larger, more cohesive space. Moreover, there is less cleaning work because there are simply fewer joints!
These residents were completely satisfied with the end result of the bathroom, which was achieved in part due to the pleasant collaboration with professionals such as Van Sundert and Instamat.
