The main challenges
As a Rayon Manager, you will have your own customer base. These include installers (with and without a showroom), bathroom retailers and (interior) architects. A good relationship with your customer is crucial. After all, they are going to recommend and/or sell your product. So our customers are our ambassadors. A good relationship with your customer is necessary. That’s why you give them real attention. You must be able to convey the emotional added value of our products. You are constantly looking together with your customer for ways to serve the market even better. And you do whatever it takes! In addition to an existing client base, you are tasked with expanding this base with new relationships. In general, you visit clients four days a week. On Fridays you work from home to make new appointments and additional administrative work.
Be successful in this position
You can be described as a true relationship manager. You know better than anyone how to build a good long-term relationship based on trust and respect. Affinity with our industry is not necessary, feeling for design and experience is a plus! Some experience in a “field sales” position is desired, but certainly not required. You have an MBO/HBO working and thinking level and an enormous drive and excellent communication skills. You reside in the region.
