Casa Decor 2026 has since closed its doors, but what a special edition it was. For six weeks, Instamat radiators were in the spotlight during one of the most inspiring design events in Europe. In the heart of Madrid, amidst impressive interior concepts, innovative materials, and progressive designs, our products had the opportunity to shine once again in a place where design, luxury, and creativity come together.

Best product!

Last year, we were introduced to Casa Decor for the first time . An exciting step, which was immediately crowned with success: our JAY towel warmer was named ‘ best product ‘. Naturally, that left us wanting more.

Casa Decor Awards-Instamat

Design paradise

Casa Decor is anything but a standard fair. No enormous halls filled with stands, but an entire historic building that is transformed year after year into a temporary design paradise. For six weeks, leading brands, architects, and designers present their latest ideas in the fields of interior design, innovation, and sustainability here. Behind every door, you discover a completely different world and wander from room to room as if walking through an exclusive home magazine.

Former monastery

This year, Casa Decor took place in a former monastery in Madrid. A beautiful building with character, spread over five floors with no fewer than 47 fully designed spaces. Now that the event has ended, the building is getting a new purpose once again. Soon, it will be transformed into a stylish boutique hotel, actually fitting the atmosphere of the building perfectly.

Instamat at four special places

During the 2026 edition, our JAY towel warmer could be admired in no fewer than three different rooms. In addition, Spain was introduced to the COBRA designer radiator in detail for the first time.

Jacob Delafon

In Jacob Delafon ‘s space, everything revolved around tranquility, refinement, and wellness. Soft lighting, natural materials, and subtle details created a serene environment where you immediately slow down. The JAY towel warmer was elegantly integrated into the overall concept here, enhancing the sense of luxury and comfort.

Tarimatec

At Tarimatec, too , relaxation was the focus. A warm wood look, low-maintenance materials, and a tranquil atmosphere made this bathroom a place where you would love to stay for hours. The JAY not only added functionality but also gave the space just that extra sense of comfort and luxury.

Strohm

Strohm ’s space demonstrated how powerful simplicity can be. Organic forms, calm lines, and natural influences created a timeless interior where everything felt perfectly balanced. The JAY complemented this effortlessly and enhanced the elegant appearance of the room.

Light

Our COBRA design radiator took center stage in the Leicht space. Here, the kitchen and living room flowed seamlessly into one tranquil living environment filled with warm tones and natural materials. Thanks to the playful, graceful shape of the COBRA, a striking contrast was created between functionality and design. The radiator snakes elegantly upwards like a serpent and combines a striking appearance with practical ease of use, perfect for warming towels in the kitchen or bathroom.

Design that adds both luxury and comfort

With products like the JAY and the COBRA, we demonstrate that warmth can be much more than just functional. The JAY towel warmer combines design, innovation, and comfort in one elegant design. Thanks to its low energy consumption and fully electric operation, this warmer is also sustainable and easy to install, without extensive renovations. The COBRA also aligns perfectly with current interior trends in which round shapes and soft lines play an important role. The radiator is available as both an electric and a central heating version, making it fit effortlessly into a wide range of interiors.

Warm Welcome in Madrid

During this edition of Casa Decor, we received a special invitation from the organizers: to give a presentation to the predominantly Spanish visitors. Fortunately, we didn’t have to think twice about it. Together with Nick van Meersveld, our sales manager in Spain, and colleague Rolf, we were ready on April 27 to share our vision on warmth and interior design. And naturally, they did so simply in Spanish. That turned out to be a resounding success. The presentation was not only well understood but also enthusiastically received by the audience. There was great interaction, and the reactions were positive. And the conversations that resulted from that? Naturally, we are simply continuing them – also in Spanish.

On a press trip to Madrid

Because we now knew what to expect from Casa Decor, we felt it was time for something extra: a press trip to Madrid. While design fairs in Milan, Paris, and Copenhagen immediately ring a bell for many people, Madrid often remains a hidden gem. That is precisely why journalists from vtwonen , The Art of Living , and Villa d’Arte, among others, were immediately enthusiastic about joining us. After a relaxed flight and a short taxi ride, we arrived at the beautiful Only YOU Boutique Hotel in the city center. The hotel itself was already a source of inspiration. The former 19th-century mansion exudes atmosphere: dark colors, vintage details, art, luxurious lounge areas, and an interior that feels stylish without being overdone. Moreover, the hotel was perfectly centrally located: Casa Decor was just a fifteen-minute walk away.

After freshening up, we soon found ourselves in the vibrant design world of Casa Decor. During our visit, we spoke at length with designers, architects, and brands. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch with Macarena, the enthusiastic force behind Casa Decor’s client relations. Over tapas—including Jamón ibérico and the classic croquetas de jamón—ideas were exchanged, trends discussed, and new contacts made. After a long first day, and a visit to the four style rooms showcasing Instamat products, we returned to the hotel for a pleasant dinner. And… besides design, Madrid surprised us culinarily as well! One of the absolute highlights of the evening was the classic steak tartare, prepared at the table with great care and flair. The dessert at Tribeca Bistró was also an experience in itself. The chocolate mousse was likewise prepared at the table and given a surprising twist with olive oil and a touch of salt. A unique combination that was perfectly balanced!

An inspiring tour of Casa Decor

The following morning, during an extensive guided tour, we truly discovered just how special and vast Casa Decor is. Behind every door lies a completely different world: from serene wellness spaces to colorful living rooms and smart, innovative material applications. Everywhere you see how design, sustainability, and comfort are increasingly coming together. As a result, Casa Decor does not feel like an ordinary interior design fair. After taking in all the impressions, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the rooftop terrace of the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid. At Dani Brasserie, chef Dani García’s rooftop restaurant, we were spoiled not only with culinary delights but also with a spectacular view of the Madrid skyline. Afterwards, there was still time to explore the city further.

City trip tip!

Madrid is highly recommended! The city feels spacious, clean, and lively, with wide boulevards, stately buildings, and atmospheric squares. It is not without reason that Madrid was recently named the best city in the world. And believe us: there is so much to see. For example, stroll through the impressive Retiro Park, where locals row on the large lake and musicians create a relaxed atmosphere. The Royal Palace is also absolutely worth a visit. Another must-see is Atocha Station. In the middle of the old station hall, you will find a huge tropical courtyard of over 4,000 square meters, a surprising spot right in the city center. You really shouldn’t miss the Mercado de San Miguel either. In this beautiful market hall of cast iron, glass, and wood, you can sample the most delicious tapas, fresh seafood, olives, and jamón ibérico. Afterwards, be sure to walk over to Plaza Mayor, one of Madrid’s most famous squares.

And before we knew it, the press trip was already over, and we were flying back to Amsterdam that evening. With countless impressions and wonderful conversations, we look back on a fantastic experience. The accompanying journalists also reacted enthusiastically to Casa Decor and the way Instamat products had been used in the various spaces. We look forward to seeing the inspiring stories and reports in home and interior design magazines soon. So be sure to keep an eye on the magazines!
